{"id":21550,"date":"2025-12-03T11:06:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-03T10:06:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cmi.es\/cmi-receives-recognition-from-corresponsables\/"},"modified":"2025-12-03T11:06:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-03T10:06:07","slug":"cmi-receives-recognition-from-corresponsables","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cmi.es\/en\/cmi-receives-recognition-from-corresponsables\/","title":{"rendered":"CMI receives recognition from Corresponsables"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Our business school received recognition from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.corresponsables.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Corresponsables<\/a> for its contribution to CSR, at an event attended by more than 700 people which brought together 35 organisations \u2014 from multinationals to small businesses, public bodies and specialists \u2014 at Endesa&#8217;s corporate headquarters.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The fifteenth edition of the Corresponsables Yearbook took place on Wednesday 26 February, where CMI Business School received recognition for its work in training leaders with a focus on CSR, a key element running through all its programmes.<\/p>\n<p>Rafael Garc\u00eda and Nilsa M\u00e1rmol, CMI&#8217;s directors, received the award from Marcos Gonz\u00e1lez himself, president and publisher of Corresponsables, its foundation and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.observarse.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Responsible Communication Observatory<\/a> (ObservaRSE).<\/p>\n<p>The master&#8217;s programmes and courses for which CMI was recognised \u2014 before executives from companies including Paradores, Carrefour, Enaire, Seur, Carburos Met\u00e1licos, EDP, Endesa, Lilly and Novartis \u2014 can be seen <a href=\"https:\/\/cmi.es\/en\/masters-programs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How the day unfolded<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The event set out to debate \u201cAlliances and dialogue with stakeholders: lessons learned and future challenges\u201d, drawing on reflections from a range of business leaders, and was sponsored by Endesa and Spain&#8217;s Ministry of Labour, Migration and Social Security. The Madrid Corresponsables day opened with the first public appearance by Maravillas Esp\u00edn, the government&#8217;s new Director-General for CSR.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReviving the State Council for Corporate Social Responsibility (CERSE) to advance the 2030 Agenda is a unique opportunity to fight for human rights on the basis of equity and equality (\u2026) The government is committed to designing public policy that revitalises companies&#8217; CSR,\u201d said Esp\u00edn as she opened the event.<\/p>\n<p>After the analyses of the current state of CSR \u2014 which trended online, reaching a record 13.4 million people and more than 1,900 interactions \u2014 two thematic workshops were held under the auspices of ObservaRSE: \u201cPutting alliances into practice\u201d and \u201cAlliances for inclusion and diversity at work\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Given the success of this first Madrid edition, the event will be held during 2020 in Barcelona, Burgos, Seville, Murcia, A Coru\u00f1a, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Tenerife.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our business school received recognition from Corresponsables for its contribution to CSR, at an event attended by more than 700 people which brought together 35 organisations \u2014 from multinationals to small businesses, public bodies and specialists \u2014 at Endesa&#8217;s corporate headquarters.
