On Tuesday CMI resumed on-campus classes at the business school under a strict set of safety measures, so as to guarantee the protection of everyone while they are on the premises.<\/em><\/p>\n

After six months’ pause because of the COVID-19 pandemic, CMI’s students returned this week to the classrooms at our premises in El Retiro, Madrid. Here is the safety protocol we have put in place to look after our students, lecturers and staff.<\/p>\n

Safety measures<\/h3>\n

Compulsory protocol for entering the centre:<\/p>\n

* Masks must be worn at all times. Anyone without one will not be admitted.<\/p>\n

* Rooms are disinfected with an ozone generator before use. A thorough disinfection is carried out before every class or use of a space.<\/p>\n

* Methacrylate screens have been installed at every desk. Benches for two people may not be shared and are for single use, guaranteeing distance between students.<\/p>\n

* Temperature is taken from everyone before entering the centre. Anyone below 37.2 \u00b0C may be admitted.<\/p>\n

* Safe social distancing between everyone present.<\/b><\/p>\n

COVID-19 prevention<\/h3>\n

Beyond these measures, the centre holds RIA’s biosafety certificate, which verifies compliance with good practice in infection prevention.<\/p>\n

At CMI Business School we understand that protecting the health of everyone around us is also good practice that we must guarantee and encourage. The pandemic we are living through requires us to be more rigorous about preventing infection, but our business school will not for that reason set aside the things it has always guaranteed: spacious rooms with proper ventilation and heating, access to natural light, a common area for relaxing and a kitchen available to everyone.<\/p>\n

Nor shall we stop working to build a healthier organisation that fosters people’s well-being. As in previous months, we shall go on attending to every question and every situation our students face, individually and with the attention it deserves.<\/p>\n
