Among them were <strong>Rafael Garc\u00eda Mart\u00edn<\/strong>, president, founder and dean of <strong>CMI Business School<\/strong>, together with <strong>Nilsa M\u00e1rmol<\/strong>, the institution&#8217;s vice-president, and <strong>Daniel Arribas Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, Director-General for Consumer Affairs at Spain&#8217;s Ministry of Social Rights and the 2030 Agenda.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cmi.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/cmiuniversal_1710523698_3324436190977693396_6425137608-1024x1024.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17176\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Left to right: Rafael Garc\u00eda Mart\u00edn, Daniel Arribas Gonz\u00e1lez and Nilsa M\u00e1rmol<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The presence of the school&#8217;s directors underlined the part education, academia and government regulation play in defending consumer rights: the event was an occasion to reflect on the progress made in consumer protection and to identify the challenges that remain.<\/p>\n<p>Adapting consumer protection strategies to address new problems and <strong>guarantee the safety and well-being of every user<\/strong> is essential, since consumers have the right to receive clear, truthful and complete information about the products and services they buy.<\/p>\n<p>That transparency means <strong>disclosing the prices and characteristics of products and services<\/strong>, but also giving information about their environmental impact, the conditions of their use and any possible risks to health and safety.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cmi.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Bottom-Newsletter-Noticias-web-1024x427.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16299\"><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On World Consumer Rights Day, the importance of transparent information, of the quality of products and services, and of the fair and honest treatment people deserve as customers was recalled.
