{"id":21565,"date":"2025-12-03T11:06:27","date_gmt":"2025-12-03T10:06:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cmi.es\/cmi-agreement-dominican-republic-ministry-of-education\/"},"modified":"2025-12-03T11:06:27","modified_gmt":"2025-12-03T10:06:27","slug":"cmi-agreement-dominican-republic-ministry-of-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cmi.es\/en\/cmi-agreement-dominican-republic-ministry-of-education\/","title":{"rendered":"CMI signs an agreement with the Dominican Republic&#8217;s Ministry of Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>Under the agreement, the Madrid business school will train 55 outstanding Dominican students on its postgraduate programmes at the institution specialising in CSR.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>CMI Business School has signed a collaboration agreement with the Dominican Republic&#8217;s Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCYT) to provide grants for 55 Dominican students, who will enrol at the business school to take our innovative master&#8217;s programmes.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement was signed by CMI&#8217;s president and director, Rafael Garc\u00eda Mart\u00edn, and MESCYT&#8217;s minister, Dr Franklin Garc\u00eda Ferm\u00edn, who also agreed on training for 100 Dominicans on short courses and 150 on online seminars.<\/p>\n<p>Those awarded the grants will join the October 2021 intake and may choose from CMI&#8217;s full range of academic programmes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/cmi.es\/en\/master\/responsible-mba-master-in-business-administration-and-management\/\"><b>Responsible MBA<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/cmi.es\/en\/master\/master-in-csr-and-sustainability\/\"><b>Master&#8217;s in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/cmi.es\/en\/master\/sustainable-finance\/\"><b>Master&#8217;s in Sustainable Finance Management<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/cmi.es\/en\/master\/master-in-human-management-and-organizational-development\/\"><b>Master&#8217;s in Human Management and Organizational Development<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/cmi.es\/en\/master\/master-in-responsible-marketing-and-international-trade-management\/\"><b>Master&#8217;s in Responsible Marketing and International Trade Management<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>They may also choose whichever study mode best suits them: on campus weekly, or 100% online.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>After signing, Garc\u00eda Mart\u00edn described the agreement as \u201ca commitment to excellence\u201d, one that would represent \u201csustainable business growth and a deep rooting of CSR, so as to train more entrepreneurs who will bring success to the Dominican Republic\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Garc\u00eda Ferm\u00edn, for his part, stressed how significant an agreement with CMI Business School is. \u201cThis is a conscious business school that seeks benefit for society and for the environment alike, building values that reflect local and global concerns (\u2026) CMI specialises in exactly that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Also present for CMI was its co-founder and vice-president, Nilsa M\u00e1rmol.
