On Wednesday 21 September 2022, CMI Business School celebrated the graduation of the 2021\u20132022 cohort. More than 200 people attended \u2014 students, families, lecturers and distinguished guests \u2014 to mark the graduation of 114 CMI students of various nationalities. It was held at the Casa de la M\u00fasica in the Palacio de Cibeles, where everyone shared in the tribute to those who had successfully completed their master’s studies.<\/p>\n
Nilsa M\u00e1rmol, CMI’s vice-president and co-founder, gave the opening address, wishing every success to the professionals beginning a new stage full of opportunity. Special guests also attended: Miwi Clavera Maestre, director-general of the Spanish Association of Sustainability Managers, and Ivette Barreto, director-general of the Association of Ibero-American Women Entrepreneurs, who spoke about the current challenges in the labour market and in running responsible companies, and wished the graduates well.<\/p>\n
We were also joined by the ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the Kingdom of Spain, Juan Bol\u00edvar D\u00edaz, representing the country that this year awarded 52 higher education scholarships for Dominicans to take master’s degrees at CMI Business School.<\/p>\n
The ceremony continued with the presentation of diplomas to all graduates of the on-campus and online modes across the programmes: the Master’s in Responsible Marketing and International Trade Management, the Master’s in Human Management and Organizational Development, the Master’s in Responsible Business Administration and Management, the Master’s in Sustainable Finance Management and the Master’s in CSR and Sustainability, with honourable mentions for the outstanding results on each programme.<\/p>\n
Distinctions were also awarded to Paola Salcedo Turb\u00ed, graduate of the Master’s in Responsible Marketing and International Trade Management; Mar\u00eda Torres Silva, graduate of the Master’s in Sustainable Finance Management; and Sara Ortiz D\u00edaz, graduate of the Master’s in CSR and Sustainability, for achieving the best marks in their cohort. Each gave an encouraging address to their fellow students and thanked CMI for its support at every stage of their studies.<\/p>\n
The ceremony closed with words from the director and founding partner, Rafael Garc\u00eda, who stressed how much each professional matters in continuing to build a green and sustainable future:<\/p>\n
