CMI Higher Education<\/a> celebrates its students’ talent, creativity and commitment with the publication of the first edition of the academic magazine \u201c+Sostenible<\/a>\u201d, a project developed by students on the Master’s in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability<\/a> during the 2024\u20132025 academic year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The publication represents a good deal more than a piece of coursework. It is an innovative undertaking that turned what was learned in the classroom into a real tool for communicating about sustainability, social responsibility, innovation, ethical leadership and sustainable development. The magazine brought together interviews, features, analysis and case studies showing how sustainability can have a positive impact on companies, institutions and communities.<\/p>\n

Among the subjects covered are inclusive social entrepreneurship through FUNDAPEDCO, sustainable agricultural innovation driven by Agro360, responsible communication, sustainable human management, tourism diplomacy, and the part education plays in driving social change.<\/p>\n

The project was developed by students Francisca Daniela Pavez Valenzuela, Pierina Altagracia Vargas Abreu, Valentina Rodr\u00edguez Marmolejo and Rocelin Amanda Guzm\u00e1n Abreu<\/strong>, who produced a professional publication reflecting the practical application of what they learned on the master’s. The work received the highest mark from their supervisor, who noted the originality of the idea, its power to communicate, and its potential to grow through future editions.<\/p>\n

At CMI Higher Education<\/a> we want to recognise this excellent work and to invite current students across all CMI’s programmes to take up the baton<\/strong> and take on the challenge of producing the second edition of \u201c+Sostenible\u201d<\/strong>. It is a singular opportunity to share ideas, give visibility to projects that make a difference, and help build a more responsible and sustainable society.<\/p>\n

The first edition has shown that learning goes beyond the classroom when combined with initiative, commitment and purpose. Now is the moment for a new generation of students to bring their own perspective and carry on building this space for reflection, knowledge and inspiration.<\/p>\n
