The school now belongs to a community of more than 4,000 companies worldwide held to standards of sustainability and transparency.<\/em><\/p>\n

CMI Business School has become a B Corp, the result of hard work to meet the highest standards of transparency, responsibility and social commitment. Companies holding the certification belong to a global movement of people who believe in the power of business as a force for the common good.<\/p>\n

The B Corp standard measures a company’s management performance as a whole and covers five key areas of impact: governance, workers, community, environment and customers. It is awarded by B Lab to companies leading the way in their social and environmental commitment, after a rigorous assessment process in which they must provide evidence of good practice and write their legal commitment to social purpose into their articles of association.<\/p>\n

On that basis, CMI Business School formally joins the community of companies seeking to be part of the solution to social, global and environmental challenges, redefining what success means through responsible strategy.<\/p>\n

This achievement reaffirms the interest we have had from the outset in being active partners in the transformation of companies that build on sustainability as a cornerstone, and this certification is the fruit of that<\/i>,\u201d said Rafael Garc\u00eda, CMI’s director.<\/p>\n

The business school shares the certification with more than 4,000 companies worldwide that are also B Corps, among them well-known names such as Patagonia, Alpro, Triodos Bank, Alessi, Ecoalf and Innocent.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs part of the CMI team, I am very proud of an achievement we have worked hard for and that everyone was involved in. We know that this certification will bring us more opportunities to keep innovating and reaching higher standards for our whole community<\/i>,\u201d said Jordy C\u00f3rdova, coordinator of CMI Business School’s quality department.<\/p>\n

For his part, Pablo S\u00e1nchez, executive director of B Lab Spain, offered his congratulations to the school and encouraged it to keep working to reduce inequality, respect and regenerate the environment, strengthen communities and create high-quality jobs with dignity and purpose.<\/p>\n

The celebration was attended by the institution’s directors, Rafael Garc\u00eda and Nilsa M\u00e1rmol; B\u00e1rbara Salas, Carolina D\u00edaz and Margarita Saritama, of the coordination department; Mois\u00e9s Rodr\u00edguez and Jordy C\u00f3rdova, of the CSR and quality department; Pamela Murcia and Laura Minyetty, of the communications and marketing department; and Cristina Esp\u00edn, of the institutional relations department.<\/p>\n
