Madrid, 8 June 2026.<\/strong> The academic community of CMI Higher Education<\/a> had the privilege of watching at close hand as His Holiness Pope Leo XIV<\/a> made his official journey through the historic centre of Madrid on Monday 8 June.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

The strategic location of CMI Higher Education’s campus<\/a>, right in the heart of Madrid, meant that students, teaching staff and administrative staff could witness an exceptional, historic moment, watching the Holy Father’s route pass just metres from our building.<\/p>\n

His Holiness’s visit drew thousands of people onto the streets of Madrid, turning the centre of the city into a meeting point for the faithful, for visitors and for media from around the world. Thanks to its privileged location, CMI Higher Education stood directly on one stretch of the Pontiff’s official route, giving our community a rare chance to witness this historic occasion.<\/p>\n

Our CMI campus is roughly 700 metres from the Almudena Cathedral<\/a>, and very close to landmarks such as the Puerta de Toledo<\/a> and the Royal Palace<\/a> \u2014 a strategic spot that connects our institution to some of Madrid’s principal historic, cultural and institutional monuments.<\/p>\n

The presence of Pope Leo XIV so close to our campus speaks to the importance and centrality of the setting in which our students’ academic life unfolds, at an institution located in one of the city’s most representative and vibrant districts.<\/p>\n

All of us at CMI Higher Education are glad to have shared this historic moment with our community, and we reaffirm our commitment to continuing to offer an international academic experience in a privileged location.<\/p>\n
