It sounds like the latest green trend in business.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, this kind of entrepreneurship has its origins in setting an <strong>ethical and sustainable strategic objective that goes beyond simple financial return<\/strong>, and that gives back to society and to the environment, tangibly and genuinely, part of the profit generated by the economic activity being carried out.<\/p>\n<p>That idea raises a question: is a responsible business, meeting every ethical and social standard, actually more profitable? The answer, beyond any doubt, is yes. The proof lies in the standing corporate social responsibility has gained at senior level, moving onto the agendas of shareholder meetings and boards at major companies as something central and intrinsic to the business at every level \u2014 conceptual, strategic, tactical and operational.<\/p>\n<p>Small and medium-sized businesses and startups are not outside this powerful current of change, because large multinationals increasingly require their smaller partners and suppliers to comply with integrity policies and to keep up with the regulations governing their sector.
