On June 10, the Student Welfare Department of CMI Higher Education successfully celebrated the third edition of “Gastronomic Fusion”, one of the most anticipated integration and networking activities for our international community.

This annual gathering brought together students from different parts of the world, who had the opportunity to share typical dishes from their countries of origin, creating a unique experience in which gastronomy became the common language to foster coexistence, cultural exchange, and the creation of new friendships.

Throughout the event, attendees were able to taste a wide variety of representative flavors from countries such as Mexico, Cameroon, the United States, Haiti, Tunisia, Italy, Spain, Peru, Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic, among others. Each dish told a story, reflecting the traditions, customs, and cultural richness of the nations represented by our students.

Beyond gastronomy, the activity allowed participants to share experiences about their adaptation process to Spain, exchange academic and professional perspectives, and strengthen the bonds that make CMI Higher Education a global community.

International diversity is one of our institution’s core values, and events such as “Gastronomic Fusion” help our students develop personal and professional connections that enrich their educational experience and enable them to build an international network from the beginning of their studies.

This third edition consolidates an initiative that year after year continues to grow in participation, enthusiasm, and impact within the student community. What began as a social activity has become a highly anticipated tradition that reflects the multicultural spirit that characterizes CMI Higher Education.

From the Student Welfare Department, we thank all the students who made this event possible and reaffirm our commitment to continue promoting activities that foster integration, cultural exchange, and a sense of community among our international students.

Without a doubt, the 3rd Edition of “Gastronomic Fusion” has once again demonstrated that the best way to connect cultures is by sharing experiences, stories, and flavors that bring us closer together and enrich us as a global community.
