The Master’s in Sustainable Tourism is based on a faculty of renowned research professors and an advanced, practical pedagogical methodology.
The curriculum covers and delves into all management disciplines, rooted in the values of integrity, social responsibility, sustainability, and the use of new technologies to create and transform business models from strategic to operational levels, maximizing organizational results across three dimensions: economic, social, and environmental.
The MBA in Sustainable Tourism is designed for professionals and students in the tourism sector who wish to deepen their knowledge and specialize in the leadership and administration of both private and public companies and organizations for the sustainable development and growth of the tourism industry, maximizing the advantages of cultural and environmental assets. The curriculum covers the entire value chain, including all stakeholders in operations management within the framework of a green and circular economy. The Master’s in Sustainable Tourism programs feature CMI’s teaching methodology—an innovative, specialized, and advanced pedagogy using an appropriate experiential combination of theory, practice, research, and the case method. This trains students in decision-making and includes exhaustive monitoring of performance and development through personalized tutoring and continuous learning reviews. *At CMI Business School, we have made our master’s offering more flexible for non-graduates who can validate the degree through merit-based recognition of relevant professional experience. Professional experience will be considered as a source of knowledge and skills in our admissions criteria to maximise the positive impact of students and the Institute.
The selection process for these candidates will include an interview to determine whether the student can demonstrate sufficient experience, knowledge, and competencies to follow the classes at the established pace without difficulty.
Applicants to pursue this master’s degree from CMI Business School must hold a Bachelor’s degree, or an Architect, Engineer, Graduate, Lawyer, Technical Engineer, or Teacher degree, or other equivalent and complementary qualifications to the above, within the same field as the profiles described.

CMI offers interested students the opportunity to complete Professional Internships in Companies as part of their Master’s Final Project or in addition to it.
These internships serve as an ideal real-world labor market complement to the learning developed throughout the master’s curriculum.
The duration of the internship is 150 hours, equivalent to 6 ECTS.
Furthermore, all students will have the option to continue the internship period as an extracurricular activity—that is, without earning credits—for a maximum period of 6 months.
Professional Internships in Companies will also be available on an extracurricular and voluntary basis for students completing the Master’s Final Project.
All CMI Professional Internships in Companies are paid.
CMI grants Study Scholarships for the Master’s Programs in Sustainable Tourism in all its modalities.
The Scholarships cover 60% of the price of each program and are aimed at students with an excellent academic record.
A portion of these scholarships is reserved for people from emerging or developing economies, or with a disability, with the aim of promoting equal opportunities across different groups.
