Professional Experience

Georgina Marcelino Mercedes holds a PhD in Advertising and Public Relations from Camilo José Cela University in Madrid, specialised in communication in Social Media and new media; a Master’s in Advertising from Antonio de Nebrija University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising with a specialisation in creativity and management from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo. She has more than 10 years of professional experience in strategic advertising, creativity, branded content and marketing.
She has worked as a Social Media Manager and digital content manager for brands with a global presence, defining visual identity parameters and supervising the development and promotional launch of new mobile applications and other brand projects. She has worked with brands such as Mary Kay, Telefónica, Be Live Hotels, FedEx, Continental Hotels, Dodot, Federópticos, Rowe, Roemmers and others.
As an independent consultant and speaker at events on creativity, communication and digital innovation, she has published articles in academic research journals in communication and has participated as a speaker at events and conferences on these topics.

She also collaborates as a workshop facilitator and speaker in spaces focused on social transformation and representation in and for vulnerable groups, with an emphasis on universal values such as equality, non-violence and non-discrimination.
