Professional Experience
Helena López-Casares Pertusa holds a PhD in Economic and Business Sciences from Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid, specialising in organisational cognitive neuroscience. Her thesis, entitled Neuromanagement, the need for new paradigms in the business world of the 21st century, was awarded distinction cum laude. She holds a degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, and her Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA), which granted her research proficiency, focused on internal corporate communication.
She holds a Master’s in Marketing and Communication from IDE-CESEM, is a University Expert in Public Communication and Defence from UNED, has a postgraduate qualification in Public Relations Management from ECOL–University of Barcelona, and a Master’s in Commercial Neuromanagement from ESCO. She is also an Executive Coach certified by the Transpersonal Coaching School.
She has 18 years of experience in training and teaching. She is a lecturer at Antonio de Nebrija University in business degrees, teaching entrepreneurship, innovation, company creation and idea generation. She also collaborates with the European University of Madrid, the International University of Andalusia, CEU San Pablo University of Madrid, Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid, the Complutense University of Madrid and Jaume I University of Castellón in their postgraduate programmes, as well as with business schools such as EUDE, IDE-CESEM, Galicia Business School and CMI Business School. The subjects she teaches are related to neuroscience applied to personal and professional growth, the application of consciousness to business, emotional intelligence, communication, leadership, creativity, teamwork and coaching.
Her professional background has been linked to corporate communication, branding and marketing, areas she now works in through consultancy and teaching. She collaborates in the management of change management plans, internal and external communication strategies, and people management within corporate transformation projects for various consultancies.
She has worked in media outlets such as Vaughan Radio and Television, TVE and Gestiona Radio. She is the author of seven books, including Nadal, Passion and Courage, Equipos 10 and Emprende con Richard Vaughan.
