PhD in Science, complemented with training in Business Administration. His current research focuses on the transfer of research results as a driving force for economic and social development.

Professional Experience

More than 20 years of experience in innovation, holding public and private positions as Director of R&D&I. Hybrid background in science and business administration. PhD in Science, complemented with training in Business Administration. Associate Lecturer at Carlos III University of Madrid, Senior Lecturer at Francisco de Vitoria University and Honorary Collaborator at the University of Alicante. His training includes research stays at international centres such as the Institute of Medical Sciences, University of Aberdeen, and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

His current research focuses on the transfer of research results as a driving force for economic and social development. Entrepreneur and project funder, he currently promotes projects across various technological and scientific disciplines, including biomedical and clinical trial projects. His research work ranges from basic research in health, bioengineering, biomedicine and pharmacology published in leading international journals, to business-related work, including a review of binding tax rulings issued by the Directorate-General for Taxes, applicable to the taxation of R&D&I activities and business projects.

His knowledge of both the public and private sectors, as well as his ability to advise companies on economic, tax and financing matters and public-private collaboration, has enabled him to collaborate with universities, science parks, technology centres and companies.
