Our Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation is a broad, multidisciplinary programme designed for graduates of any discipline who want to start a business, or to advise on setting up and developing business projects and innovation initiatives. It offers advanced, specialist training in founding companies and in developing innovations applied to business.

The programme's main aim is to prepare professionals to conceive, develop and launch successful business ventures, and to keep them current through innovation. It also builds the skills to work in entrepreneurial organisations, or in organisations connected to entrepreneurship, using innovative methods that make them competitive and contribute to sustainable economic and social development.

Who is it for?

The Master's in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is aimed at graduates in law and the social sciences, or in engineering and architecture, with a background related to economics and business: business administration and management, marketing, advertising, public relations, information systems engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering and management, and so on.

Also other graduates who have completed official postgraduate programmes covering the fundamentals of business management and administration, such as an MBA, PDG, etc.

Mid-term assessments UTAMED's mid-term exams offer continuous assessment that is formative and motivating. They let you measure your progress, reduce stress and practise with real papers. If you pass the mid-term, the final exam covers only the second half.

Practical simulations You will have access to practical workshops on the professional software you will use in your working life, so that you arrive ready for the real thing.

Online learning You can attend live classes — one hour per subject per week. They are not compulsory, and the recording is available at any time. There is also a video library to help you work through the syllabus.

Additional resources We concentrate on the specific skills the job market will ask of you (the Skills Programme), together with dedicated training in personal and social skills (the Core Programme).

Entry requirements

Students with university studies 1. Hold an official bachelor's degree awarded by a Spanish university, or an equivalent qualification. 2. Hold a bachelor's or master's degree issued by an institution within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) that gives access to master's study in the country of origin. 3. Hold a university qualification obtained outside the EHEA, equivalent to a bachelor's degree and without the need for formal recognition, provided that it gives access to postgraduate study in the country of origin. Admission on this basis does not imply official recognition of the qualification or its validity for any other purpose within the Spanish education system. If you hold a foreign qualification not formally recognised in Spain, the university will check that it meets the requirements for admission to the master's. You will need to show that your qualification gives access to master's study in the country that issued it. You may enrol on a master's if all you have left is your final-year project and up to 9 ECTS of your bachelor's degree, although you cannot be awarded the master's until the degree is complete. Priority goes to applicants who already hold the official university qualification.
