Our Master's Degree in Digital Ethics answers the needs emerging in the information society as new technologies develop. Demand for education in digital ethics is growing, borne out both by the proliferation of public and private documents on the subject and by the appearance of interdisciplinary bodies such as AI ethics committees. Unlike other systems, the Spanish university system has yet to meet that demand with master's programmes specifically in digital ethics.

The programme's main aim is to equip students to address the challenges raised by digital technologies in fields such as information, computing, biotechnology and neurotechnology. It is designed to provide a specialist, multidisciplinary education focused specifically on digital technologies. The programme is grounded in ethics, law and philosophy, in constant dialogue with communication science, computing and biology.

Who is it for?

The Master's in Digital Ethics is aimed at graduates in philosophy, law, social sciences, political science or equivalent fields, and at holders of a master's degree in ethics, philosophy, law or areas related to ethical or social study. Graduates from other fields — computer engineering, communication, psychology or the equivalent — may also be admitted, provided they complete the bridging course set out below, which gives them a structured grounding in ethics. Bridging courses This online Master's in Digital Ethics sets out to give the necessary competences in specific fields to students who have not previously studied ethics or philosophy — those with a background in computer engineering, communication, psychology or the equivalent: • Introduction to ethics for technical profiles (6 ECTS, before the master's begins)
