CMI Business School marked with enthusiasm its directors’ address at the first graduation of 2022, held in the main hall of its premises in the Salamanca district. More than 45 graduates of various nationalities attended, in person and online.

Corporate social responsibility must be in the DNA of every business and, although we face many challenges and difficulties, this is what has to be done, whatever problems we have as a society. That is to say, even in an ideal world — even if we lived in a perfect society with no climate or social problems — we would still have to be responsible for our impacts,” said Rafael García, CMI’s director, encouraging the graduates to foster responsible practice in their companies.

Nilsa Mármol, co-founder and vice-president of the institution, also spoke to the participants: “This is a very special afternoon, a day to celebrate the intense year you have lived through. We know you have put everything you had into presenting your final projects, so congratulations on a year of such effort and such sacrifice. For us you are a very special cohort, because you had the courage to decide to study in the difficult, deeply uncertain situation we were living in last year — and that says a great deal about you, that you are people of real determination who achieve your goals and whatever you set out to do.”

The event was led by both academic heads, and special prizes were awarded to the students with the best marks on their respective master’s programmes.
