Marking International Women’s Day a few days ago, we gathered to celebrate the event “Empowered women who empower others” with the Association of Ibero-American Women Entrepreneurs (AMEIB Pachamama), an organisation that has spent 14 years promoting and giving visibility to the social, economic and cultural contribution of Ibero-American women entrepreneurs in Spain. It works to the principles of equal opportunity between women and men, cultural diversity and corporate social responsibility.
The occasion is an opportunity to recognise the fundamental part women play in society, and to reflect on the challenges we still face in achieving equality of opportunity between women and men. We were recognised with the award for equal opportunities and cultural diversity — a cause we shall go on supporting and exemplifying, for an educational environment that is fair and healthy for everyone.
