Students at the business school specialising in CSR, sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship can now hold a dual university qualification.
CMI Business School, the international business school leading the way in the conscious management of organisations, now offers a dual university qualification following an agreement that makes CMI a Collaborating Centre of the Universidad Católica de Ávila (UCAV) — the result of joint work to open greater opportunities to students.
The agreement was signed by CMI Business School’s academic leadership, Rafael García and Nilsa Mármol, together with the Rector of the Universidad Católica Santa Teresa de Jesús de Ávila (UCAV), Dr María del Rosario Sáez Yuguero.
“We are very pleased with this achievement. We have worked hard to advance programmes of excellence and initiatives with a positive impact for our student community. We are genuinely committed to that purpose, and this alliance is a historic step that will help us keep growing in that direction,” said Rafael García, CMI’s director.
The strategic agreement will allow a dual university qualification with international validity across all CMI’s master’s and diploma programmes and in every mode taught in Spanish and English: the Master’s in Responsible Business Administration and Management (the Responsible MBA), the Master’s in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, the Master’s in Sustainable Finance Management, the Master’s in Human Management and Organizational Development, the Master’s in Responsible Marketing and International Trade Management, the Higher University Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, and its English-language equivalent.
The agreement signed by both organisations demonstrates CMI’s commitment to offering the highest standards of quality in its educational services — services which, through continuous improvement and supported by modern, advanced technology and management systems, bring the latest advances in the conscious management of companies and organisations, with every programme available on campus, online and in blended mode.
“With this agreement we have secured university backing for CMI’s programmes, which now form part of the European Higher Education Area. That gives them greater validity, accreditation and recognition internationally,” said Nilsa Mármol, CMI’s co-founder.
As part of the agreement, further joint activities will be developed with UCAV to open up greater opportunities and collaborative projects between the two institutions across various academic fields.
