Applications and study modes
Applications are open for the first edition of the Expert Diploma in CSR and Sustainability online at CMI. The course begins online in September 2020. It will be taught in Spanish, and in November in English. It will also be offered on campus; anyone interested in the on-campus mode should check the forthcoming start dates, which will be published on our website in the Programmes section, under Expert Diploma.
The programme’s format is 100% online. It includes live classes with lecturers, so that students can interact with them at any point. The sessions add up to 80 teaching hours, organised over four weeks, with flexible timing and personalised tutorials.

The syllabus covers the concept of CSR and the need to put it into practice; the design and implementation of CSR policy within the core business of companies and of organisations of every kind, including foundations, NGOs, associations and public administration; and the analysis of the business environment from a social, economic, legal and environmental perspective.
The course is aimed at managers, business leaders, NGOs, public administrations, the self-employed, professionals, entrepreneurs and students, and generally at anyone wanting to learn how to design and implement CSR strategies so as to do business responsibly, with a positive impact on society and on the natural world.
As with all our Institute’s programmes, CMI uses a specialist teaching methodology combining theory, practice and the case method, training students in decision-making and monitoring their performance and development closely through continuous review. The syllabus places considerable emphasis on experience and on the student’s all-round development.
