The school won an award in 2021 for its scholarship scheme.
The Universal Foundation of CMI Business School has officially set out the requirements and the steps to follow for anyone interested in applying for its study grants for the October 2022 master’s intake.
Pamela Murcia, head of the academic admissions department, encouraged those interested to begin the enrolment process and make the most of the school’s benefits: “we have a very good scholarship scheme, focused not only on recognising academic excellence but on volunteering and on emerging economies. I encourage anyone interested in widening their academic experience through a master’s to join Spain’s first business school specialising in corporate social responsibility”.
CMI was honoured at the prestigious 2021 Educational Excellence Awards with the prize for the best scholarship scheme in CSR, since its foundation awards study grants with the aim of creating equality of opportunity and making quality education accessible to professionals.
The study grants are divided into a 50% award for academic excellence, for functional diversity, or for coming from an emerging or developing economy; and a 25% award for a professional record in CSR, NGOs or volunteering, for those who are unemployed and for recent graduates — all with a firm commitment to making sustainable learning available and fit for the times.
Cristina Espín, of the admissions department, added: “Every year we welcome new students who have benefited from the study grants the institution offers, and it is very rewarding for us to be part of their stories. We believe the learning they gain here will mean more responsible professionals and companies in our societies”.

- An up-to-date curriculum vitae.
- A covering letter.
- A university degree certificate allowing master’s-level study. (The qualification may have been awarded by universities anywhere in the world, and need not be apostilled.)
- Academic transcript.
- A high level of Spanish (B2).
- A copy of your passport or national identity document.
At CMI Business School we have made the master’s programmes more flexible for those without a degree who can show relevant professional experience instead. Professional experience is assessed as a source of knowledge and skills within our admissions criteria, so as to maximise the positive impact of our students and of the Institute.
The selection process for such candidates includes an interview establishing whether they have sufficient experience, knowledge and competences to follow the classes at the pace set without difficulty.
