Through this new partnership, students at our business school can, if they wish, obtain substantial discounts on international medical insurance.
CMI Business School has reached an agreement with Sanitas health insurance, widening its network of partner organisations and offering more and better benefits to its students.
The agreement, which includes special discounts on taking out cover, offers particular help to international students, who must obtain such cover under European Union rules in order to enter Spain.
“The aim of this partnership is to offer our students a practical solution on health insurance, since it is a requirement for international students. As an institution we are committed to putting forward proposals that make our students’ path easier throughout their academic journey, so that they have the best possible experience,” said Rafael García, CMI’s founder.
International students must apply for a study visa that includes medical insurance. It has to cover repatriation costs in the event of death, medical assistance and hospital care, with a minimum cover of 30,000 euros valid for at least the duration of their studies.
Sanitas is one of Spain’s most significant insurers, with a broad panel of doctors, numerous treatment centres and hospitals, and a wide range of services, cover and personalised care. Students enrolled at CMI can choose this insurer at a lower price: those up to the age of 35 will pay a general premium of 39.35 euros a month, while from 36 upwards the premium is 54.80 euros, thanks to the agreement between the two organisations.
