During the event, held at the Hotel Puerta de América, CMI Business School’s founders Rafael García Martín and Nilsa Mármol received an award for their contribution to building and running responsible ventures — recognition of all the effort and work put in over the school’s history.
CMI’s leaders also gave a free talk on the advantages of bringing a corporate social responsibility perspective into new ventures, stressing the need to build the outlook of corporate social responsibility into any company’s vision — a key element applied across every one of the master’s programmes CMI teaches.
The event, which drew more than 500 people, featured successful entrepreneurs who shared their inspiring stories and the keys to succeeding in Europe. CMI Business School was honoured at Expo Emprende España for the considerable effort of recent years, with particular emphasis on the pressing need to train professionals and students so that, together, we can see corporate social responsibility embedded across every area of an organisation.
Training people in something so relevant today matters greatly if we are to achieve, together, the Sustainable Development Goals. That is why CMI Business School builds a corporate social responsibility perspective into every master’s programme and course it offers, encouraging responsible entrepreneurship as a new way of starting a business.
