For the third year running, CMI Business School is a partner in professional training projects with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Dominican Republic. We are glad to contribute to the professional growth of Dominican professionals through the master’s programmes on offer. The international scholarship programme run by MESCYT exists chiefly so that deserving Dominican professionals can access master’s and doctoral programmes at international institutions of high academic standing.

According to the ministry’s public announcement, applications open on Tuesday 31 January and close on 21 February 2023.

Anyone who meets CMI Business School’s admission requirements and also meets the visa requirements set by MESCYT may apply for the full range of master’s programmes, on campus and online, starting in October 2023.

The requirements for applying to the 2023 INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS round are as follows:

  • Be a Dominican national with permanent residence in the Dominican Republic.
  • Hold a higher education qualification with a grade point average of at least 80 on a scale of zero to 100, or 3 on a scale of zero to four.
  • The application form for international postgraduate scholarships.
  • An academic transcript legalised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCYT).
  • A copy of the degree certificate legalised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCYT).
  • One (1) 2×2 photograph.
  • A photocopy of the national identity and voter card (both sides).
  • A photocopy of the passport (first page and any visas).
  • A curriculum vitae (two pages maximum).
  • A certificate of no criminal record.
  • A medical certificate (physical and mental health).
  • A statement of the applicant’s aims in undertaking the studies.
