“Through the business education our students receive, we want them to help develop a sustainable outlook and responsible management, helping companies have a positive impact on society,” explained Natalia Di Piazza Umbides, head of institutional development at CMI Business School.
For CMI Business School it is essential that our students should be able to enter the job market. We have therefore made progress on signing new collaboration agreements for curricular placements in companies and organisations.
“What matters about these agreements is that they should also involve a learning process for students in real working environments — so that they discover the genuine needs, challenges and opportunities of the sectors that interest them,” Di Piazza Umbides concluded.
The organisations with which CMI has signed new placement agreements are:
- Mutua Madrileña, the leading company in the Spanish market for general insurance, asset management and property.
- Acción contra el Hambre, an NGO founded in Spain by a group of French doctors, scientists and writers, whose mission is to save lives by ending hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of malnutrition. The Nobel Prize-winning physicist Alfred Kastler was the organisation’s first president.
- Fundación Entreculturas, a non-profit development cooperation organisation promoted by the Society of Jesus, which works for education and for the development of peoples in the conviction that education is a fundamental human right from which no one may be excluded.
- Auren, a professional services firm in auditing, consultancy and legal advice. It has long worked with the mission of creating value and contributing to the sustainable development of society, of organisations and of people.
