CMI has signed an agreement to support responsible entrepreneurship with “Emprende SDQ”, an organisation that has worked since 2017 to foster entrepreneurship and networking between Spain and the Caribbean.

CMI Business School fosters and promotes responsible entrepreneurship. It is one of the school’s core values, alongside corporate social responsibility (CSR) and innovation. This week it therefore signed an agreement with “Emprende SDQ” to support such initiatives, granting exclusive benefits to entrepreneurs who have taken part in any of the “Women Entrepreneurs and Businesswomen” (MEE) events, both in the Dominican Republic and in Spain.

Participants in these gatherings, attended by more than 4,000 people, automatically received a 50% discount on all CMI master’s programmes, on campus and online, and a 10% discount on all courses. These offers are for a limited time and apply to places confirmed up to 31 December 2020.

The discounts apply to all CMI’s business management and administration programmes, in their weekly on-campus, fortnightly on-campus and fully online modes.

The programmes covered are:

Along with the Expert Diploma in CSR and Sustainability and our range of online courses.

Miguel Alejandro Rodríguez, founding president of the company behind the MEE gatherings, explains that the aim is “to be a space where women can develop their professional capabilities and bring their role in society to the fore”.

After three editions in Santo Domingo, the event was held in Madrid for the first time in March this year, where CMI Business School’s co-founder and vice-president was one of the speakers. Nilsa Mármol set out the essentials of preparing to launch a venture, explaining that “what matters most is reaching a high level of preparation and knowledge so that you can seize opportunities consciously. (…) The ability to understand the dynamics of sustainable business growth is acquired in motion, as we move into the sector, get to know it, study it and seek advice (…)”.
