The event organised by the institution featured a range of interactive activities for students to enjoy.
CMI Business School held an integration day with students from its various master’s programmes and study modes, with the aim of bringing them closer together and building stronger bonds between them. It took place at a natural recreation park in San Martín de Valdeiglesias, to the south-west of Madrid.
Through the day, students enjoyed sporting activities including zip-lining, archery and canoeing, along with interactive games and much else that helped them make new friendships and widen their networks and connections.
“I enjoyed the day enormously. I got to spend time with people I didn’t know and dared to go down the zip line, which I hadn’t expected of myself. I’m very happy to have taken part and I’m grateful to the school for putting on activities like this, somewhere comfortable and peaceful,” said Yocasta Morel, a student on the Master’s in CSR and Sustainability.
The institution’s directors, Rafael García and Nilsa Mármol, were also present. “It fills us with joy to see your faces this afternoon, answering the purpose of this event. We saw people come together and coordinate their efforts to row and not fall in while canoeing and, though that may seem trivial, it is precisely what we want to see in you within your companies: people united, rowing towards the same destination,” said the director.
The school’s communications coordinator and the event’s organiser, Estefanía Villasanti, encouraged students to go on building effective bonds and strengthening a network that, in the short and medium term, will help them meet their objectives as socially responsible people.
