Following the signing of the agreement during the visit of its president, Noelia García de Pereyra, to our Madrid premises, the two organisations have resumed work on defining exactly what the collaboration will cover.
Two months after CMI Business School and Voluntariado Banreservas signed their agreement in Madrid, the two sides met again to take the document forward — this time at the offices of the Dominican bank’s NGO.
Voluntariado is the charitable programme of Banreservas, the state bank of the Dominican Republic and the second largest banking institution in Central America.
Taking part were CMI’s founding president, Rafael García Martín, and, for Voluntariado Banreservas, its director Sabrina Andújar de Vásquez, its manager Giselle Plá Puello, and Carolina Arthur Ramos, an advisory member of the Voluntariado Banreservas board.
Also present was Laura Rojas, executive director of the Nature Power Foundation, which will develop an alliance with CMI following the meeting.
The purpose of the session was to examine and begin work on the specifics of the collaboration agreement signed between the institutions, whose aim is to strengthen support, opportunities for growth and the creation of synergies.
CMI’s president, Rafael García, explained that “we are also working on, and looking at, how to extend the scope of our collaboration and its advantages to the whole Banreservas family — that is, to all its employees, its foundations and its partner organisations”.
“We shall go on working on this agreement and hope to be able to announce new joint projects and activities before long,” concluded the president of the international school specialising in CSR and sustainability.
